Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the St. Paul Skyway Map (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you visit spskyway.com or use any related site or application operated by Jacob Ramos.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit a business claim we collect your name, email address, phone number, and your relationship to the business. When you sign in to the “Manage Business” portal we collect your email address. When you submit feedback, an issue report, or suggested hours, we collect whatever you write.
  • Activity data. We log basic events such as business views, link clicks, and navigation requests so we can understand how the site is used. These events are not tied to a person unless you are signed in.
  • Bluetooth signals. At certain locations in the skyway we operate small Bluetooth sensors that detect signals broadcast by nearby Bluetooth devices to estimate foot traffic and dwell time. The signals we receive are randomized device identifiers; we do not link them to a person or to anything else you give us.

How we use it

  • To operate, secure, and improve the site.
  • To respond to your claim, feedback, or report.
  • To estimate skyway traffic and decide where to invest improvements.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers or marketers.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run the site:

  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Resend — outbound email

These providers handle data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies:

  • A signed admin session cookie used only for site administration.
  • A “Manage Business” authentication cookie if you have signed in as a business owner.

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep claims, business records, and feedback as long as they are useful to operate the site. We delete or anonymize records on request. Bluetooth sensor data is retained only for as long as needed to produce traffic estimates and is regularly purged.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account, your business claim, your feedback, or any other personal information you have submitted by emailing admin@spskyway.com.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at spskyway.com/privacy.
